Karl Terry was born in 1967 in Ashford, Kent. He is married to Joanna and have two young children, Bethany & Tobias and live in Witter-sham, near Rye. He frequently paints in Cornwall.
He paints predominately en plein air in all weathers and at every opportunity. His work represents his personal and immediate response to being immersed in the outdoor atmosphere.
Karl continues to see fresh revelations of colour that open his eyes to the beauty that surrounds us, even in the mundane.
He is a member of the famous "Wapping Group” of artists and his work is widely exhibited in galleries through-out the UK. His work has been accepted for the Royal Academy Summer Show, The Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Royal Society of British Artists where he won the `Redrag Award`. In 2011 he was featured on BBC2’s ‘Show me the Monet’.
Purchases may be collected or we can arrange for delivery for as little as £20 depending on size and distance. All of the paintings are framed. Sizes are of the painted images, excluding mounts and frames. Please be advised that screen colours may differ slightly from actual painting colours.
